i picked up a couple derwent inktense pencils while i was in the city on sunday and now i’m finally testing them. i’m going to write a quick review.
in the past, i’ve been complete shit at watercolor pencil. i was hesitant to purchase inktense pencils because they’re similar. maybe i’ve just been buying the wrong watercolor pencils. xP
these inktense pencils are lovely! i colored over a watercolor base that i’d allowed to dry overnight. i am currently going over the dry inktense pencil with a wet brush. the colors blend so smoothly. ;_; i’ve only used two colors so far and i was able to blend them with ease.
hopefully the photos compare dry vs wet inktense decently? i was trying to show the difference.
